I’ve called someone perfect before and he knew he wasn’t, so he told me not to say it anymore and I never did. He was right, he wasn’t perfect. I was just too in love to realise how blind it was making me.
The word perfect is just so young and naive, and irrational and completely unrealistic. How is someone “perfect”? Are they exceedingly attractive? Do imperfections never taint their complexion? Are they incapable of evoking any negative feelings in you? What is it that makes someone perfect?
Perfection is a big fat lie. I don’t like the word perfect, but then again, maybe I’m just biased?
